HOUSE HUNTING IN THE COLD SPRING SCHOOL DISTRICT

 

Homes in the Cold Spring School District are located within the 93108, zip code and are set more in the Central, Western and North-West portions of Montecito. Quiet lanes, rolling hills, Ocean views and neighborhoods close to school comprise the make-up of the area, and homes range from about $900,000 for a smaller fixer on a small lot, to $15,000,000 or more for a grand estate.

Many of homes for sale in the Cold Spring School District fall into the $1,000,000 to $4,000,000 range, with a few for sale in the $5,000,000+/- range, and a handful of homes with asking prices over $10,000,000 are currently on the market.

 

This area of Montecito is closer to and often on the border of Santa Barbara proper and allows for easy access to the Montecito villages as well as directly into downtown Santa Barbara. There is a healthy mix of historic homes, larger estates, block developments and many ocean view properties as well as private sanctuaries, that have been carved out on private lanes, out of sight from the main streets.

 

Here is a look at four current listings, all of which offer value in price, amenities or selling features, and of course their inclusion in the desirable Cold Spring School District.
